The happy post..
Ok...i was pissed off because of the evil mock exams but now im extremly happy because, what do i find on my humble blog? Only a comment from her awesomeness..Sarra Manning. So Sarra thank you, and about that other comment where i mainly repeat what i said before, well I hadn't realised you'd got my first one, but it's all still true. :D
Ok so after that fab bit of news I've decided I'm going to type up a peice of creative writing I did while revising for my mock English exam, which i took today and more than likely failed horribly..but never the less...
I stumble out of the alleyway I had been knocked unconscious in only hours before. The muggers had got away with my bag. Everything was in there; phone, money, keys. Now I had nothing. I bring my hand to my head to be greeted with a cold bloody congealed mess, shakily i wipe it on my skirt. I look along the city street i had wondered happily down not long before. The ever awake city had finally settled down to sleep. It's streets littered with only the odd car. It was too late even for the hardest of partiers.
The tall buildings shadow over me, blocking the smoggy city skyline. The lighted lampost flickers above me. I shiver as the bitter cold air bites through the flimsy cardigan covering my arms, but I'm already numb. Too numb to cry or scream. My legs moving on their own as my mind stays in it's dream like state.
I find myself standing outside the streets tube stattion, the shutters pulled across it, the lights off, closed. The stairs under the feet of so many during the day, lay resting at night. The bus stop, not too far from it, stands unused. The taxi rank lays empty.
The city's busy lifestyle is forgotten under the cloud covered moonlight, where it sits in silence. I long for a sound, any sound, until a scream is heard. I turn on my heels and run back. I long to be anywhere but here, but my legs lead me to the center of it all.
A girl stands clutching her boyfriend, a hand covering her mouth. The boy holding her tightly and dialling the phone in his hand. They don't notice me watching them. I come forward and look at the sight that has disturbed them. The sight in the alley way. There lies my body lifeless on the floor. My skin lay white and my face surrounded by a large pool of my own blood. I feel my stomach, lifting up my t-shirt slightly, I see the deep wound that's been made. Soon the sound of sirens is heard, and the quiet city comes alive once more as the dead girl wonders on.
